Floral Friday – Floral Centerpieces

It’s amazing how easily you can transform a table with an elegant and chic ceterpiece! Doesn’t matter if it’s for a gathering, an iftar party, a wedding, or anything else… the right centerpiece is all it takes to add a polished touch to any event.

To master this form of table décor it’s important to ensure that your piece compliments the atmosphere and mood of your setting, while still keeping things creative. Here are some ideas that you could try…

For a heavy dose of drama try a tall or hanging centerpiece that defies gravity! This option is perfect for adding creating a regal mood in a  venue that boasts high ceilings and it even makes it easy for guests to conversate.

Another great option which allows guests to enjoy a more intimate experience is the very low centerpieces. When it comes to this arrangement it’s best to use a profusion of flowers from the same color family that can work together to create a visually appealing set up.

For a more relaxed setting, delicate and airy arrangements work best. This is usually done by using a small number of single blossoms and show casing them in a clear glass vase or even drinking glasses.

Can’t decide what style you like best? No worries, feel free to mix it up! Although traditionally most arrangements are monochromatic in a way, you still have the option of switching things up in terms of size and height. Drawing the eye to different levels creates a flow through out the room and gives your set up a great wow factor!

  1. Thank you for the inspiration. My office is having a slew of important meetings, and I'm in charge of finding centerpieces for the conference tables. We need something elegant, and I LOVE the flowers under the champagne glasses.
